About the Position
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is the face of the hotel and is responsible for delivering excellent guest service, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, positive attitude
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservation processes
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally
- Process payments, verify IDs, and handle financial transactions accurately
- Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Address guest concerns, resolve issues, and escalate when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
Required:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (email, PMS systems preferred but not required)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience
- Experience with a property management system (Opera, Cloudbeds, ChoiceADV, etc.)
- Bilingual skills (helpful but not required)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.30 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
