Position Summary
Westman Atelier is seeking a creative and detail driven marketer to help manage end to end go-to-market of new launches, day-to-day marketing operations, product positioning, pricing and toolkit development. This person should be proactive, agile, well-organized and able to work across multiple work streams at a quick pace. They should be equally analytical as creative. Ability to prioritize and cross-functional relationships are key.
Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing Manager in all day-to-day tasks to meet business and brand goals including, but not limited to presentations for key meetings
- Calendarize and manage all marketing milestones across new product development and core campaigns
- Conduct social listening and competitive analysis to inform business decisions
- Keep up to date on the latest products, trends, and insights across platforms
- Field all cross functional marketing asks and funnel to relevant party or team
- Execute marketing toolkit creation, liaising with relevant cross function members in Community, Brand, Digital, Creative, Visual Merchandising, Education and Sales to ensure all tools are captured
- Manage select promotion, sampling initiatives and retailer specific programs
- Maintain all marketing tools – calendar, pricing, item master, etc and communicate updates to relevant partners
- Assist in product positioning and creative concept work for new products and core campaigns
- Continuously monitor performance and make recommendations for SKU rationalization
- Work with the team to brainstorm product names and copy across various mediums that aligns with brand identity
- Liaison with Product Development to manage and memorialize formula records, positioning, product testing, etc
- Manage all marketing sample needs
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in product marketing or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with a strong eye for design
- Strong ability to partner with both creative and data-driven teams
- Agile, highly organized individual with a knack for data and drive to innovate
- Strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)
- Experience in the beauty industry, startup experience a plus
This is a remote position, but candidates in the tri-state area are preferred.
