In this vital role, you will support bartenders and service staff by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, assisting with food and beverage prep, serving, and ensuring smooth operations during busy nights. Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning counters, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks, preparing food, and supporting banquet setups.
• Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and replenishing beverages during service hours.
• Operate POS systems like Squarespace, Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders, payments, and cash handling accurately.
• Help set up and break down event spaces for event nights, banquets, or catering functions, ensuring all areas are guest-ready.
• Handle food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery during busy shifts.
• Come to work with a positive and welcoming attitude ensuring each guest leaves happy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is a must.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Squarespace, Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in event settings, banquet events, catering, weddings, and any other large gatherings is advantageous.
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining sanitation standards. Take pride in the place you work.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Prior barista experience or food industry background is beneficial but not required.
