- WestLand**is adding**Environmental Compliance Monitors**to our
construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental
regulations, permit requirements, and project-specific environmental
plans. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections,
construction monitoring, documenting compliance status, providing
guidance to construction crews, and reporting findings to project
management. The position requires knowledge of environmental
regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in
field conditions for extended periods. This position will be on-call

What will I be doing?
- Conduct monitoring of construction activities to ensure compliance
- Monitor implementation of erosion and sediment control measures,
practices.
- Document inspection findings, including photographs and written
- Advise construction crews on corrective actions to address
- Coordinate with project management and contractors regarding
- Maintain accurate inspection logs, reports, and related
- Report any environmental incidents or non-compliance to the Project
- Support environmental training for construction crews as needed.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Assist in preparing final environmental compliance reports for

What qualifications are required for this role?
- Associates degree with a focus on Environmental Science, Natural
relevant work experience may substitute educational component
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in environmental monitoring
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Experience in environmental monitoring, compliance monitoring, or
- Observational and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with construction personnel,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing reports and
- Organizational and time management skills
