Duties And Responsibilities
- Comply with Westlake Safety Policies.
- Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.
- Unload finished frames.
- Sash frames to be cleaned.
- Make sure to check out the frame prior to cleaning the frame.
- Inspect vinyl for any defects.
- Scribes around pattern or along straightedge, using cutting tool.
- Perform duties that require the use of specific machines.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Prior experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to read tape measure accurately.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and use good judgment.
- Read, write, speak English, Spanish is a plus.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Prolong standing for up to 12 hours performing shift work or in a stationary position.
- Bend or twist.
- Complete repetitive movements.
- Handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Remove or replace items up to 50 pounds.
- Ascend or descend stairs.
- Be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out.
- Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable.
- Wear all the required personal protective equipment.
- Work in constant noise above 85 decibels.
