Production - Compression Molding duties include but are limited to the following:
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES FOR THIS POSITION:

Production - Compression Molding duties include but are limited to the following:
- Clean and set up the mold.
- Fill the mold with resin.
- Assure proper resin is being loaded by predetermined requirements as stated on shop orders.
- Level the material.
- Close the molds.
- Open molds and remove molded sheets.
- Tag sheets with serial number making and printing the tags as needed.
- Properly identify and return unused resin to warehouse.
- Perform visual quality control of molded sheet.
- Inspect continually during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain ISO standards in Compression Molding area with products in accordance with products specifications.
- Report “near misses/accidents” to the Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment throughout the Compression Molding facility.
- Report daily, weekly, activity and problems to the manager.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES FOR THIS POSITION:
- Strong working knowledge in Manufacturing Principles, mechanical, Compression Molding manufacturing processes, Compression Molding machines, procedures…
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Solve problems step by step, thinking through looking beyond obvious solutions to a problem and endeavor to find the best solution.
- Basic computer skills:
- Ability to follow programs.
- Reading, analysis and interpretation of common industrial, manufacturing and technical procedures.
- Understanding of Manufacturing safety regulations and practices.
