Position Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to delivery. You’ll also play a key role in supporting sales efforts by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and helping drive revenue growth. Experience in plastics or polymers is essential.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Service Engagement and Issue resolution
· Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and accuracy.
· Provide detailed product information including specifications, pricing, and availability.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
· Address complaints and escalate complex issues as needed.
· Work with quality and production teams to resolve product discrepancies.
Order Management
· Process orders using our ERP system.
· Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely fulfillment.
· Keep customers informed about order status and shipping updates.
Sales Support and Lead Development
· Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
· Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and follow-ups.
· Monitor customer buying patterns and suggest relevant products or services.
Documentation and Reporting
· Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
· Generate reports and analyze customer service and sales metrics.
Continuous Improvement
· Suggest process enhancements and contribute to best practices.
· Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills
· High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2 years in customer service or inside sales, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
· Plastics or polymer industry experience is required.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in CRM, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
· Ability to multitask, solve problems, and support sales initiatives.
Work Environment and Schedule
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the production floor.
Hybrid schedule available after onboarding and training period.
Standard 8-hour day shift.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience.
