Summary
To setup and troubleshoot saws, sizing tubes, bellers, hydrotesters and specific extruder operations in order to eliminate setup issues, reduce regrind and maximize productivity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Setup lines for startups and or changeovers.
- Documents problems incurred and how they were solved.
- Coordinate tooling repair and replacement.
- Maintain 5S program for saw and beller tooling.
- Maintain tooling log and line settings as required.
- May be required to help write procedures within the department.
- Completes experimental runs on new tooling and document any issues.
- Develop the ability to assemble and disassemble tooling as required or instructed.
- Required to be on call.
- Be available for unscheduled overtime.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings as necessary.
- Ability and willingness to take on additional assignments as requested by management.
- Follow all safety rules as required to perform job functions.
- Other duties and requirements as assigned for the job.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Industrial Maintenance or Pipe Extrusion.
- Must communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must be a self-started and motivated to move on to the next project without being told.
- Must have basic familiarity with Microsoft applications including MS Office
