ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, coach, counsel, participate in hiring and firing staff.
- Monitor collection calls for accuracy, FDCPA compliance, and successful collection call.
- Apply and enforce company and department policies in conjunction with dept manager.
- Produce collection/ production for Supervisor/ Management Review
- Successfully train subordinates.
- Responsible for the professional advancement and improvement.
- Handle escalated customer/ subordinate complaints
- Monitor and service 90 day/FPD buckets as needed.
- Directly assist dept manager in defusing any complaint or customer/debtor concerns
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Extensive FDCPA knowledge and application of its rules and regulations
- Supervisory/ Team lead experience
- Ability to motivate staff to work as a team
- Ability to simultaneously talk and type
- Must be a Great at Multi-tasking and work well under pressure
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the collection industry
- Knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing.
- Able to work any and all hours, including Weekends and evenings
- Ability to value collateral using Manheim/KBB
- Extensive knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing
- Expert in negotiations
- $25 per hour plus potential bonus
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
