We are looking to add a Part-Time Aesthetician working 3 days a week to assist at Houston West University Office. The schedule will be Monday, Wedesdays, and Fridays.

About the Role:

As an part-time Aesthetician, you will play a vital role in enhancing clients' skin health and overall appearance through expert skincare treatments and personalized beauty services. Your work will involve assessing individual skin types and conditions to recommend and perform appropriate treatments such as chemical peels, acne therapy, and hair removal techniques. You will contribute to clients' confidence and well-being by advising on treatments and skincare products tailored to their unique needs. Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment is essential to ensure client comfort and satisfaction. Ultimately, your expertise will help clients achieve their aesthetic goals while promoting healthy skin practices.

Education & Experiance

• Active Aesthetician or Esthetician license in the state of Texas
• Two-years of experience in a medical office
• Previousexperience in a medical spa or dermatology setting preferred
• 100-site laser hair removal certification

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in performing skincare treatments and cosmetic applications.
• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin care products, and treatment protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively consult with clients.
• Ability to maintain hygiene standards and follow safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in advanced skincare treatments such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion.
• Experience with hair cutting and styling techniques.
• Training in specialized waxing methods including Brazilian waxing.
• Familiarity with the latest cosmetic brands and product lines.
• Background in sales or retail of skincare and cosmetic products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, and other skincare services
• Obtains AestheticPre-Op Protocol (APO), if applicable to the procedure.
• Escortspatients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Obtains or updates medication list if necessary.Entersintake information intopatientsEMR. Sets upexamroom according to scheduledprocedure,entersall pertinent information into theEMR chart.
• Educatespatientasrequiredafter physicianestablishesthe treatment plan,ifrequired. Ensures that the patient understands the treatment plan, understands the proper use of their medications, and understands their responsibilityfor compliance with the treatment plan prior to leaving the office.
• Conduct thorough skin assessments and recommendappropriate treatmentplans and products
• Educate patients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and product usage
• Maintainaccurateand detailed patient records
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Straightens and cleans exam rooms after patient visits.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
• Performs all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization.
• Provide postoperative treatments to accelerate healing.
• Build andmaintainstrong patient relationships to support retention and satisfaction
• Stay up to date on industry trends, treatments, and product knowledge
• Collaborate with providers and clinical team members to support patient care
• Assistwith retail product recommendations and contribute to product sales goals
