Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) units, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct HVAC system repairs, including servicing air conditioning units, furnaces, ventilation fans, and related controls to maintain comfortable indoor environments.
• Execute plumbing maintenance tasks such as pipe repairs, leak detection, drain cleaning, and system upgrades to prevent disruptions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to carry out repairs or modifications on facilities infrastructure.
• Maintain facilities equipment by performing scheduled maintenance on elevators, boilers, generators, and other mechanical systems.
• Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects to uphold the aesthetic quality of interior spaces.
• Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, or mechanical systems to facilitate accurate repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities using MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by following proper procedures when handling electrical work, welding tasks, or hazardous materials.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep.
• Proficiency in reading schematics for electrical circuits and mechanical systems; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Experience with facilities maintenance including HVAC systems repair, plumbing repairs, electrical equipment troubleshooting & repair.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques along with maintenance painting skills to enhance interior aesthetics.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately; experience with building interior maintenance is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective supervision or assistance during complex repair projects or team tasks.
• Fluency in English for clear communication with team members and guests; additional language skills are advantageous but not required.
