- Coordinate and perform daily skilled respiratory assessments, treatments and documentation
- Work collaboratively with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary plan of care for the patients
- Assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and progress
- Adjust equipment and supplies for respiratory care and treatment
- Educate patients on breathing exercises and how to use respiratory equipment
- Administer medications for various respiratory conditions
- Plan, implement, and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses/compromised respiratory function.
- Must have valid NYS RN or RT license.
- Knowledge of respiratory care protocols.
- Respiratory Competency Training (can be provided by MBHC following employment)
