Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, evaluating physiology, and recognizing changes in patient conditions to ensure timely interventions.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Insert IV lines and perform venipuncture procedures with precision to facilitate treatment plans and diagnostic testing.
- Document all medical activities thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to ensure accurate medical records management.
- Support infection control protocols, including infectious disease care procedures, to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
