Job Description

As a Steward for Fresco Italiano, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience. From assisting our chefs to keeping the kitchen running smoothly, you'll be an essential part of our team, contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines Fresco Italiano.

Duties

• Ensure all kitchenware, including dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by regularly sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables according to proper procedures.
• Rotate and organize stock to maintain freshness and proper inventory flow.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed.
• Care for and maintain kitchen smallwares, tools, and appliances.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Food Handler Safety Training Card (Health Card).
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
