Job Description
The position of Regional Director of Resort Operations will lead nine General Managers with10 timeshare and hotel properties outside of the Florida region which will include areas of oversight in Park City, UT; Las Vegas, NV; Mesa, AZ; Branson, MO; Gatlinburg, TN; Myrtle Beach, SC and Williamsburg, VA. It will include all hospitality operations for the resort as well as food & beverage operations. This position will oversee the strategic vision of team member culture, guest experience, and profitability at regional resorts and must be strategic in the overall vision of regional resort operations, obtaining optimum efficiency and economy and maximizing profits under the direction of the Corporate Vice President of Resort Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Mentor GMs to ensure successful operation of the regional resorts/hotels; establishing short-term and long-range goals to aid in the achievement of each property’s defined performance metrics
- Work with GMs to develop annual budgets and capital plans to accurately forecast financial performance
- Delivers financial results in accordance with budgets, analyzing budget requests and past P&L variance to identify areas in which reductions and/or allocations can be made, assigning action plans where needed
- Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining resorts product and service quality standards
- Critically analyze all metrics including, but not limited to: Medallia, Quality Assurance & Safety Inspections, Financial Reports/Audits, Team Member Climate Surveys, Turnover
- Provide regular and effective updates to the Corporate Vice Presidents of Resort Operations on the performance of the resorts and the Leaders in the region
- Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals
- Reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations as required
- Protects the resorts and their assets through enforcing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs
- Follows company policies and procedures and can effectively communicate them to subordinates
- Ensures resorts management are following all federal, state and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage and Hour and Health laws
- Promotes the organization in industry or trade associations
- Manage time and projects effectively to produce a desired result in view of available resources
- Provide a professional image at all times through appearance, dress and professional behavior
- Promote CFI/Westgate Resorts’ philosophies throughout the region to both team members and guests
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications

Experience/Education:
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15 ) years of combined hotel/resort experience
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years executive management level experience in hotel/resort environment
- Operational experience and a comprehensive understanding of Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, Leadership & Development, and Food & Beverage are essential.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a focus on business, finance, or hospitality management is required. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results
- Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and optimize revenue streams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders including executives, employees, and guests
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality operations, industry trends, and best practices
Travel:
- Role requires extensive travel, approximately 80% of the time.
