Director of Staff Development (DSD) – LVN
Confidential Skilled Nursing Facility – Central Valley, CA
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 annually

A progressive and fast-paced skilled nursing facility in California’s Central Valley is seeking a passionate Director of Staff Development (LVN) to lead clinical education, training, and professional development for our nursing team.
This role is ideal for a clinically strong LVN who enjoys mentoring others, building strong teams, and driving quality care through education and compliance. You will play a key role in shaping the knowledge and performance of nursing staff while ensuring regulatory standards and best practices are consistently maintained.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and coordinating the facility’s clinical education and staff development programs
- Planning and conducting new employee orientation and competency-based training
- Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility training requirements
- Providing ongoing in-service education for nursing staff
- Monitoring and tracking licenses, certifications, and required clinical competencies
- Supporting nursing leadership with quality improvement and infection prevention education
- Assisting with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance
- Coaching and mentoring staff to strengthen clinical skills and professional growth
- Maintaining accurate training documentation and records

Qualifications
- Current LVN license in California (required)
