What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grades 4/5 Classroom Teacher, Long-Term Substitute position at WESTFORD TOWN SCHOOL?
Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a Long-Term Substitute 4th/5th Grade Teacher at Westford School, to cover for a leave of absence. This position is anticipated to begin in February 2027 and go through the end of the 26/27 school year.
Pay: $310.00 for a full day
EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Valid Educator license, or ability to hold a VT educator license, with appropriate elementary-level endorsement.
- The ability and enthusiasm to effectively engage and inspire students.
- Excellent teaching, organization, planning, written and oral communication, creative and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
- Ability to effectively integrate social and emotional learning in the classroom to help all students succeed.
- Experience teaching grade 1 preferred but not required.
