What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Westfields Hospital?
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Med/Surg department, you will assist with the basic care of patients within the Wisconsin CNA's scope of practice, including psychosocial and physical needs that include:
- Performing basic patient care responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Communicating observed changes in patient status and responses to the RN.
- Providing for the needs of the pediatric, geriatric and general patient populations.
Work Schedule: .8 (64 hours a pay period) - Evening/Night - Every 3rd weekend.
Required Qualifications:
- Current CNA license in the state of Wisconsin
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in EPIC computer system
- Prior hospital experience
