What are the responsibilities and job description for the YEAR ONE MENTOR TEACHERS position at Westfield Public Schools?

Westfield Public Schools seeks positive, empathetic and encouraging applicants for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year. ONLY current Westfield Public School employees can apply. Responsibilities:

Year One Mentors will provide support and guidance to a new teacher through regularly scheduled meetings and informal contacts.
Meet with mentee formally for 18 hours throughout the school year.
Attend the new teacher orientation.

There is a stipend, plus 15 PDP's. Year One Training: Additional 15 PDP's. POSITION SUBJECT TO FUNDING AND NEED FOR MENTORS
