Key Responsibilities:
Remains current with latest research regarding neuroscience and brain development, learning acquisition and instructional strategies, educational technology and Artificial Intelligence; translates these findings into actionable district-wide practices.
Monitors developments within state and national content frameworks to ensure curriculum remains rigorous, compliant, and forward-thinking.
Facilitates curriculum committees that design, review, and update curriculum maps aligned with current frameworks.
Assists in the research, selection, and equitable distribution of instructional materials, textbooks, and digital software platforms.
Provides supervision, mentorship, and evaluation for Lead Teachers; ensures their work aligns with district goals and provides a bridge between administration and educators.
Plans, coordinates, and facilitates district-wide professional learning, workshops, and modules focused on pedagogical best practices and new curriculum rollouts.
Ensures smooth transitions and alignment of curriculum expectations from early childhood programs through high school graduation.
