Furniture Product Manager

Westfield Outdoors · Indianapolis, IN · On-site

About Westfield Outdoors

At Westfield Outdoors, we design and deliver innovative, high-quality outdoor and lifestyle products that help people live, relax, and connect in the spaces they love most.

Our team thrives on curiosity, creativity, and collaboration — turning insights into exceptional products that define categories and shape markets.

We’re growing fast and looking for forward-thinking talent who share our passion for creating what’s next.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Furniture Product Manager with a passion for innovation and functional design — someone who can see what’s missing in the market and lead the charge to fill that gap.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for a strategic thinker who can spot opportunities, translate insights into innovative, market-defining product concepts, and work cross-functionally to bring bold new furniture solutions to life — the kind that redefine categories and elevate the way people live and gather.

You’ll lead the product journey from discovery to launch — using market intelligence, competitive analysis, and consumer understanding to guide the team toward products that drive category growth and strengthen Westfield’s position in the marketplace.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion Innovation: Develop forward-thinking, functional furniture concepts that challenge conventions and set new benchmarks.
  • Lead with Insight: Analyze market, consumer, and competitive data to uncover trends, identify white space, and guide innovation strategy across indoor and outdoor categories.
  • Develop Winning Concepts: Turn data-driven insights into actionable product strategies, concepts, and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate to Win: Partner with design, engineering, sourcing, sales, and operations to turn great ideas into commercially successful products — balancing function, cost, and timing.
  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Manage each stage from discovery through launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with business objectives, profitability goals, and market readiness.
  • Launch with Impact: Coordinate cross-functional efforts to prepare marketing materials, sales tools, and launch plans for maximum success.
  • Optimize Performance: Track post-launch results, assess consumer feedback, and recommend enhancements to maintain category leadership.

Who You Are

  • A creative and analytical thinker who thrives on turning insights into action.
  • Passionate about innovation, functional design, and user experience in furniture and outdoor living.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong communicator who builds trust and alignment across teams.
  • Curious, commercially minded, and driven to find the “why” behind market movements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 3–7 years of product management experience in durable goods; furniture, outdoor living, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven success identifying market opportunities and delivering category growth.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
  • Understanding of retail and e-commerce environments and how to position products for success across multiple channels.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with global sourcing, product development cycles, and sustainability-driven design.
  • A genuine passion for creating products that improve how people live, work, and play.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

At Westfield Outdoors, you’ll be part of a passionate team that values innovation, collaboration, and bold ideas.

You’ll have the freedom to explore new possibilities — and the backing of a company committed to turning great concepts into market-changing realities.
