Responsibilities
- Design beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, utilizing your floral design skills and creativity.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, gardening tools, and landscape materials that meet their needs.
- Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture practices, lawn care, and landscape maintenance.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and retail math calculations.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves with fresh flowers, plants, and gardening supplies.
- Support outdoor work activities such as planting, watering, pruning, and landscape maintenance projects.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions and promote products or services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floral design or gardening is highly preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail sales operations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, merchandising, and stock replenishment efficiently.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and professionalism.
