What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Qualified Lead Teacher position at Westfield Child Development Center?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at WCDC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and meet the following qualifications.
Requirements:
-High school diploma
-2,600 hours of verified experience working with children
-Clearances (background check, child abuse clearance, etc.)
-CDA (Child Development Associate) credential is a plus, but not required
-Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the daily care and supervision of children
-Support curriculum delivery and classroom activities
-Foster a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children
-Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for children
