The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking friendly, reliable Fitness Attendants to join our growing Health & Wellness Team. We offer a fun, positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities of the Fitness Attendant include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up and monitoring technology for the virtual exercise class programming
- Supervising, monitoring and maintaining a cleanly appearance of the fitness areas
- Placing malfunctioning equipment out of order and reporting, according to protocol
- Promoting YMCA membership retention by being a “people person” and demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Pay Range:
$16.00 -$17.00 per hour

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must possess, maintain and renew CPR for the Professional Rescuer, EPI, Asthma and First Aid certifications
- Must have a basic comfort level working with technology such as zoom, cameras and stereo systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with members
