What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Veterinarian Second or Third shift position at Westerville Veterinary Clinic?
Westerville Veterinary Clinic is a busy 8 doctor practice in central Ohio. We are seeking a full-time associate Veterinarian to join our hardworking and upbeat team as we continue to handle after hours cases:
We offer YOU:
- FREEDOM to create your own schedule, part time or full time. We recognize that there are those who prefer to string all of their shifts together (7 on, 7 off) and those who prefer something completely different.
- A home, a family. We are different from other emergency clinics because we are built out of a thriving general practice. We often see our own general practice cases, which clients genuinely appreciate.
Collaboration: Cases are seemlessly transferred between our daytime emergency staff, general practice staff, and our after hours services. In addition, an experienced Dr is available at night to help out if overnight caseload is too high or if assistance is needed for a difficult surgery. We have 24/7 radiology reading service for middle of the shift urgent needs along with current in house Idexx lab equipment for fast processing.
Potential benefits include:
- At least 135k (for less experienced doctors) in salary and potential to earn much more, with 170-220k being realistic goals. We also have part time positions.
- Student loan repayment assistance and contract renewal bonus
- Full health benefits (health vision, dental) and a top-rated Employee Assistance Program
- Company matching 401k
- Paid AVMA and OVMA memberships, Ohio veterinary and DEA licenses, Veterinary Information Network Membership
