POSITION: Summer Internship (June – August 2027)
LOCATION: Richfield, Logan, Tremonton, Spanish Fork, or South Jordan, Utah - TBD
GRADE: 6 – $23.00/hr
RESPONSIBILITY: The successful applicant will gain experience in all areas of the Association including Credit, Loan Documentation, Appraisal and Marketing. Duties may include: Analyzing and processing mortgage and commercial loans, proper loan structure and documentation, updating Association Commodity Studies, coordinating Customer Appreciation BBQs and/or trade shows, completing collateral inspections and real estate appraisals and other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have a basic understanding of production agriculture and be enrolled in college and in good standing. Prefer applicant with minimum of 3 years college education.
Applicant must have ability to interact effectively and work well with people at all levels and to convey ideas clearly as well as skills in planning and organization. Must be a self motivator with a good work ethic. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment.
Mobility on unimproved properties and ability to lift 40 pounds or more required. Some travel required in performance of job.
GENERAL DATA: For over 95 years, the Association has been providing agricultural lending services to commercial and mortgage borrowers in Utah and portions of Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
