Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a full-time Medical Technologist (0.9 FTE) to join our Laboratory. The Medical Technologist would be responsible for obtaining lab samples, performs accurately and efficiently all ordered lab work. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with up to four years related experience and/or training; or Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Science with at least four years of lab training or experience or both in high complexity testing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clinical Laboratory Science from accredited institution
- Certificate from Board of Registry from ASCP or NCA for MT or CLS within 9 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
- Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
- Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of electronic medical records
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
Work schedule:
- 0.9 FTE - 72 hours per biweekly pay period
- 8-hour shifts, day shifts with varying start times
- Weekend and Holiday rotation
