Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Financial Counselor (1.0 FTE) to join the Business Office. The primary focus of the position is to counsel and assist patients/guarantors in finding ways to meet their financial obligations for services provided at Western Wisconsin Health. Notify insurance companies of admissions to begin the pre-certification process and supply information about the patient and turning it over to Utilization Review for clinical information. Call insurance to initiate the prior authorization process on any service that would require a prior approval/notification.
