- Has 3 years of current, hands-on experience as a veterinary receptionist/CSR
- Is dedicated to providing the best client service possible
- Is a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills
- Is organized, reliable, and able to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Can move smoothly from task to task while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Is committed to a career in veterinary medicine and open to ongoing learning and growth
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Providing exceptional client service and communication
- Collaborating with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow receptionists
- Managing phone lines and booking appointments
- Setting up new clients and patients
- Over-the-counter retail and product sales
- Processing financial transactions
- General front desk tasks (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
- Showing awareness of surroundings and identifying areas where assistance is needed within the practice
