Frey Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Under the leadership of Dr. Steen since 2003, our hospital has evolved into a state-of-the-art facility, undergoing a complete rebuild in 2011, in 2018 a finalist for AAHA Practice of the year, and then a substantial expansion in 2019.

Our practice offers general medicine with additional advanced services in surgery and orthopedics, with a strong referral base in our local community.

Schedule And Compensation
- Compensation: $15-$18 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, Saturdays from 7a-12P on rotation.

- 1 years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially [insert software], preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
