Veterinary Assistant

Sheridan Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to become a part of our team! Our Veterinary Assistants are essential in ensuring excellent patient care, whether it is during outpatient visits or surgical procedures. Their responsibilities include coordinating and implementing treatment plans, assisting during examinations, preparing animals for surgery, and collaborating with our doctors to carry out procedures. Furthermore, they offer comprehensive client education and address inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Join our team as a Veterinary Assistant and help us provide exceptional patient care! You'll work closely with your team to ensure smooth appointments and procedures. This role is ideal for fast-paced, detail-oriented, individuals who enjoy engaging with clients and maintaining an organized workflow in a fast-paced environment. This is a flexible, full-time position, with opening and closing shifts Monday to Friday. Schedule flexibility a must. We are also open to part-time scheduling.

• Compensation: $15-19 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting required
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Inpatient care
• Phlebotomy
• Client education & communication
• In-house diagnostics
