Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
In this role, you will support Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians with hands-on patient care and clinical assistance in a fast-paced general practice setting. Responsibilities include gentle animal handling and restraint during exams as well as assisting with procedures from setup through breakdown to ensure clean, organized, and ready treatment areas.
You will also perform technical tasks such as taking radiographs, running in-house laboratory tests, drawing blood, and administering medications under direction of the medical team. This is an ideal position for detail-oriented, efficient multi-taskers who enjoy hands-on patient care in a collaborative veterinary environment.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with approximately three 8-hour shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional hours to cover time off. Saturday availability is required.

- Compensation: $22-24 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current VA experience
