Veterinary Assistant

Inman Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Assistants who enjoy a varied, hands-on role, splitting time between technical assisting, surgical support, and exam room care, while building meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the medical team rotating between surgical assisting, technical support, inpatient care, and exam room workflow.
• Assist with patient preparation, surgical setup and recovery, radiology, phlebotomy, SQ injections, and laboratory sample collection.
• Provide compassionate client communication, including check-ins, discharge instructions, and treatment plan review.
• Help maintain accurate medical records and anticipate team needs to support efficient, high-quality patient care.
  
  

Schedule: This is a flexible position open to someone full-time or part-time, with availability mostly needed Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $18 - 19.50 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current Vet Assistant experience

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 2 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Radiology
• Surgical set up & assisting
• Phlebotomy
• SQ injections
• Lab sample collection
• Inpatient care & monitoring
