Doctors Office for Pets is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone with a strong background in patient care and handling who enjoys working closely with clients and their pets. In this role, you will support our doctors and technicians by assisting with patient restraint, setting up for procedures, and keeping the treatment area clean and organized throughout the day.
You will help take radiographs, assist in surgery, draw blood, administer injections, process laboratory samples, and care for hospitalized patients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, attentive to detail, and comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where teamwork and communication are essential.
This is a full-time position with five 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, and no weekends!

We are a 2-doctor, full-service clinic and primarily see dogs and cats, however, we will treat reptiles, birds, and exotics on occasion. - Compensation: $24-26 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current VA experience
