As the Talent Sourcer you will help us identify the next generation of veterinary talent to join our network. You will be responsible for building strategic and tactical sourcing strategies, managing talent pipeline development, and positioning Western Veterinary Partners as an employer of choice. You will regularly partner with DVM Recruiters and business leaders to ensure alignment of sourcing resources and priorities to business needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about the candidate experience, highly organized, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position is a full-time, remote role with periodic travel required.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Identify and engage passive Veterinary candidates through various sourcing channels
- Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future Veterinarian candidates
- Leverage advanced sourcing techniques to uncover top talent
- Deep knowledge of innovative sourcing tools and the broader recruiting tech stack
- Maintain accurate and organized pipelines and candidate notes within the ATS
- Craft personalized outreach messages that reflect WVP's value proposition and culture
- Manage initial communication with prospective candidates, assess level of interest, and hand off qualified leads to DVM Recruiters
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing WVP professionally and positively during all candidate interactions
- Conduct market research to understand regional DVM talent availability, competitive landscape, and industry trends
- Track hiring trends and share insights with the Talent Acquisition team to inform strategy
- Identify new sourcing channels, online communities, universities, and professional groups to expand reach
- Partner closely with Recruiters and TA leadership to understand hiring needs and adjust sourcing priorities
- Support employer branding initiatives, events, and campaigns to attract veterinary talent
- Assist with special sourcing projects and process improvements as needed
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent sourcing in a niche industry
- Experience building pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools
- Strong written communication skills, especially for candidate outreach
- High attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience sourcing in the veterinary, healthcare, or medical fields
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Clear Company)
- Knowledge of Boolean search and advanced sourcing methods
