Burlingame Family Pet Hospital is growing, and we are excited to welcome a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to our team! As our hospital continues to expand and our doctor team has doubled in size, we are seeking a dedicated dental RVT who is passionate about oral health and practicing at the top of their license.
Our modern general practice and urgent care hospital provides high-quality medicine in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Dentistry is a valued and well-supported service within our hospital, and our Dentistry RVTs play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while educating clients and supporting positive long-term outcomes.
In this role, you will focus primarily on dental procedures and related patient care. Responsibilities include anesthesia induction and monitoring for dental cases, dental cleanings, charting, dental radiographs, administering nerve blocks, performing extractions, and gingival suturing. You will work closely with our veterinarians to ensure efficient dental workflows, excellent patient safety, and clear, compassionate client communication. This position is ideal for an experienced RVT who enjoys dentistry-focused work and takes pride in precision, efficiency, and teamwork.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with an expected schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday. Weekend availability is required and is compensated with a $2/hr shift differential.

We're equipped to perform soft-tissue surgery, general wellness, urgent care, dentistry, orthopedics, and more out of our state-of-the-art surgical suite. Our 6 full-time doctors are well-equipped with digital radiology, in-house diagnostics, all computerized records (Evet/Pulse), and most of all, a talented and committed support staff team.
We are conveniently located near BART, CalTrain, and bus routes, offering easy access for employees who commute by public transportation.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $38-45 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Shift differential: Additional $2/hr on weekends and weekdays after 7pm
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and cystocentesis
- Placing IV catheters and administering injections
- Anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Dental prophy, charting, radiographs
- Dental extractions and suturing gingiva
