Licensed Veterinary Technician

Animal Medical Center of Saline is looking for a passionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We are looking for an experienced tech who embraces advancing GP pet care while still understanding the need for spectrum of care. You find joy working in a team and see client communication and education as the forefront in great patient care!

In This Role, You Will

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  
  

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday, and one Saturday per month. We are also open to part-time scheduling.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $24-27 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Michigan
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Dental prophylaxis and radiographs
• Anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Microscope evaluation
• Inpatient care
