Lead Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Arlington Veterinary Center is seeking an outgoing Lead Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s front desk while ensuring an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate supports and mentors the client service team, manages appointment flow, addresses client concerns, and serves as a key liaison between clients, medical staff, and hospital leadership. The Lead Receptionist helps maintain efficient administrative processes, promotes a positive and professional team culture, and ensures both clients and patients feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit.

Schedule And Compensation

  • Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & every third Saturday from 8am-12pm.

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

  • 5 years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience required
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
    • Previous leadership experience, ideally in a veterinary reception setting
    • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
    • Self starter and skilled in conflict resolution
