Kennel Assistant

Parvin Animal Clinic is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our kennel team plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, clients, and staff.

In this role, you will focus primarily on janitorial and housekeeping responsibilities, helping ensure that kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces remain sanitized, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.

This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and thrive in a team-focused environment.

This is also a great opportunity for candidates who are newer to the veterinary field and eager to gain hands-on experience while learning from an experienced team.

Candidates should be reliable, friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment.

Schedule

This Is a Full-time Position With Availability Needed

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Rotating Saturdays

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 1 year of kennel or animal handling experience
• Commitment to a career in veterinary medicine with ongoing training
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Boarding Feline - medicating, care, cage maintenance
• Boarding Canine - medicating, care, walking/kennel maintenance
• Record-keeping
• Patient restraint / light tech assisting
