SouthPark Animal Clinic in Littleton, Colorado, is a 3-doctor practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care for a diverse range of patients. In addition to dogs and cats, the team also sees pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and turtles, offering a varied and rewarding caseload.
Their experienced team provides comprehensive services, including preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and orthopedic surgery, with a focus on personalized medicine and building lasting relationships with pets and their families.

- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry
- Providing safe, gentle patient handling and stress-free restraint during outpatient and procedural care
- Preparing patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces
- Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday coverage for a half-day shift.

- 4 years of experience in a veterinary assistant required
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Safe animal handling and stress-free restraint skills for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and avian of varying sizes and temperaments
- Client communication and education
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, blood draws, and outpatient procedures
- Ability to assist in surgical procedures and dental prophy's
- Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
