About The Role
We’re seeking a Co-Medical Director / Veterinarian to join a collaborative team that values communication, mentorship, and exceptional animal care. This opportunity includes weekend coverage and blends hands-on medicine with shared leadership responsibilities focused on supporting hospital culture, medical quality, team development, and growth of the practice.
As part of the team, you’ll work alongside highly skilled RVTs and support staff who allow doctors to focus on practicing great medicine while delivering an experience that keeps clients saying “yes” to recommended care. We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels who enjoy collaboration, mentoring others, and building strong relationships with both clients and teammates.
In this role, you’ll partner with the other Medical Director and hospital leadership to support standards of care, mentor and develop associates, improve hospital flow and scheduling, and help foster a positive, engaged, and sustainable practice environment. Candidates with leadership or mentorship experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required
- Valid veterinary license in California
- 3 years of leadership experience within the veterinary industry
- Competitive base salary production (no negative accrual)

Qualifications
- 5 years of veterinarian experience. Medical Director experience is a plus, but not required
- DVM or VMD
- We require a valid California veterinary license and ability to obtain a DEA license
- In addition to high-quality medicine and surgical skills, we are looking for doctors with excellent client communication and customer service skills as well as a dedication to continued education.
