Your New Role
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy in Salem, OR
- Organize and manage employee files, ensuring compliance with document retention standards
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and exit procedures
- Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and assisting with candidate communication
- Track attendance and leave records while routing documentation and employee questions appropriately
- Assist with benefits administration, including employee communications and enrollment tracking
- Respond to employee HR inquiries and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
- Maintain strict confidentiality with all employee and company information
- Assist with employee relations documentation and escalate complex matters as needed
- Provide backup support for front desk operations, including phones and visitor coordination
Job requirements
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years in HR support or administrative roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite is preferred
- High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as typing
