- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors across all areas of the facility.
- Conduct window cleaning to ensure clear visibility and maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Handle chemical cleaning agents safely in accordance with safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Manage laundry services for linens or uniforms as needed, maintaining proper hygiene standards.
- Maintain sanitation standards through proper waste disposal, restroom cleaning, and infection control procedures.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment to ensure safety during manual handling activities.
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or institutional settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including chemical handling, sanitation practices, and infection control measures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
