This is a full-time, on-site role based in Suffolk, VA for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions, providing therapeutic interventions and prescribing medications as appropriate. Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, managing patient progress, and maintaining accurate medical records. - Expertise in Mental Health Nursing, Psychiatric Care, and Mental Health Care
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in providing care for mental health and behavioral health conditions
- Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric disorders
- Strong skills in patient communication and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Relevant certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is highly preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health care and familiarity with integrated care models
