We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for our Assisted Living Facility located in Suffolk, VA

Responsibilities & Duties for Maintenance Supervisor:

• oversight of day-to-day operations at an Assistant Living Facility to include building inspections, supervision of maintenance, housekeeping, and dietary programs.
• Must be able to respond to facility emergencies
• Assure facility safety by monitoring building inspection reports, conducting evacuation drills as applicable, training staff in emergency procedures, and participating in life safety code surveys/inspections.
• Monitoring staff resources.
• Approve and manage staff work schedules, assuring that schedules meet program and consumers’ needs; review and approve leave requests, ensuring adequacy of coverage.

Qualifications and Skills for: Maintenance Supervisor:

• Must possess knowledge of commercial facility operations
• Bachelor’s degree in the related field, or have the equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record
• Long term Care experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of DBHDS regulations and or DSS standards preferred but not required
