Typical Job Duties Include:
- Testing and inspection of construction materials such as; soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt, for quality control/quality assurance in a laboratory setting as well as on construction job sites
- Discussion of test results with client's on-site representative
- Preparation of daily reports on WT project specific activities
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
- Strong communication and detailed writing skills
- Basic math and writing skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
- Capable of working independently
- Availability to work irregular hours and on weekends
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening
Required and Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous construction materials testing experience required and current ATTI, ICC, and/or ACI certifications or equivalents
Certifications that could be applicable for this position:
- ACI - American Concrete Institute
- ICC - International Code Council
- CWI- Certified Welding Inspector
- NICET- National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies
- ATTI - Arizona Technical Testing Institute
