Job Overview :
Western Surgical Group is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team. WSG, founded in 1996, is the largest and most comprehensive surgical team in Northern Nevada. WSG's dedicated team has over 20 fellowship trained surgeons, advanced practitioners, and nearly 65 support staff. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of vascular anatomy and physiology, along with proficiency in sonography and diagnostic evaluation techniques. This role involves performing complex vascular imaging procedures with detailed reporting in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning by providing precise imaging data while adhering to the hightest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed vascular ultrasound examination, including aortic, mesenteric, and renal artery duplex, upper and lower arterial duplex, upper and lower venous duplex, venous insufficiency duplex, hemodialysis duplex, carotid.
Utilize sonography equipment with precision and consistency per office protocols.
Maintain thorough knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology and physiology to interpret imaging results effectively and facilitate accurate diagnosis. Collaborate closely with Vascular surgeons.
Skills:
Proficiency in vascular ultrasound imaging. Strong understanding of physiology principles relevant to health and diagnostic evaluation. Excellent grasp of medical terminology pertinent to vascular health. Ability to operate advanced ultrasound equipment reliably while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to use and navigate an EMR system.

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
