Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am, Sun - Thurs.Training takes place on 1st shift
(6:30am-2:30pm) WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? Reads order
jacket to determine specifications of order to be cut. Set up
die-cutting machines, including loading dies, adjusting pressure and
speed, and ensuring proper alignment on a wide variety of equipment in
Manufacturing. Operate the machines safely and efficiently to cut paper
stock according to job specifications. Ensure that all products meet
quality standards and customer requirements. Proactively identify and
address potential quality issues. Performs minor maintenance tasks on
machinery. Completes paperwork at the end of tasks \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE
FOLLOWING SKILLS Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Understanding Of
die-cutting processes. Ability to read and interpret job specifications
and instructions. Excellent attention to detail and quality control
skills. Ability to use measuring tools and gauges. Strong
problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a
team. Good communication skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy
objects. Basic math skills:The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions,
and decimals is required. Manual dexterity Strong initiative Team player
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience Operating Die Cutting Machines,
preferably in a paper converting or printing environment ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS Ability to stand for an approximate duration of scheduled
shift (minus paid breaks), lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50
lbs. occasionally, repetitive grasping, frequent, twisting, lifting
above shoulder height, occasional bend, reach, crouch, or stoop. Sensory
requirements are tactile/touch with hands and digits, near and far
visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the
ability to adjust focus. Reasoning, mechanical aptitude, and
mathematical skills for appropriate operations of the equipment.
