WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN THIS HOTEL DIRECTOR OF SALES ROLE
We're seeking someone who brings:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of hotel or hospitality sales experience
- Success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally within the West Valley City market
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-property or regional sales experience
- Experience with Hilton, Marriott, or similar hotel brands
- Established local business connections in the Utah market
WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS
Here's what you'll be doing on a typical day:
- Create and execute strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue across multiple hotel properties.
- Generate new business through corporate, government, group, and extended-stay account development.
- Meet with prospective and existing clients, conducting property tours, negotiating agreements, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Represent the properties at networking events and collaborate with hotel operations teams.
