Job Summary
Western Stairlifts is looking for a dependable, friendly Part-Time Technician to support our Utah crew every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
You’ll assist with mobility product installations and service calls while receiving hands-on training. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys practical work, working with customers, and learning new skills. As our business grows, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer homes throughout Utah to assist our lead technician with installations and service calls
- Meet at job sites and our Sandy warehouse to pick up, return, or store equipment
- Learn how to install and service our mobility products through hands-on training
- Take photos of completed installations for marketing purposes
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers, including seniors and people with disabilities
- Assist with in-home customer evaluations as needed after training
Requirements
- Available to work every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Able to commute to our warehouse in Sandy, UT, and travel to job sites throughout Utah
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
- Able to communicate clearly in English; Spanish is a plus
- Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Willing to learn through hands-on training
- Comfortable working independently after training
- Construction, mechanical, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
